After hosting an AlterNATIVE program on the San Carlos Apache Reservation, volunteers were invited to join in on 91.1 FM's daily radio broadcast to discuss the AlterNATIVE curriculum and contemporary issues in Native education.

Zine Making

In addition to engaging students with a rigorous Indigenous-centered curriculum, AlterNATIVE provides students with creative opportunities to express their thoughts, cares, and identities. One way we do this is through zine making.
